A new season of the City Legends rogaining series
This year, the rogaining series “Pilsētas Leģendas” will be launched by the sea - on March 26, in Riga, in the Bullūpes area. It will be the first of six competitions that will take place this year in Riga, Ķekava, Valmiera and Ogre.

Rogaining is a team orienteering sport over a particularly long distance. Participants visit the checkpoints in the order of their choice at a certain checkpoint time. The task is to get as many credit points as possible, which are awarded for visiting checkpoints. Everyone is welcome at Rogaining - both athletes, whose core consists mainly of orienteers, supporters of an active lifestyle, and also those who like to move in the fresh air, because Rogaining is a democratic activity in which everyone can try themselves.
You can participate in the competition in teams of 2-4 participants, as well as individually, running or riding a bicycle. Everyone will have the opportunity to choose the most challenging 2h, Isostar 4h or Garmin 6h distance. Individual participants will have a two-hour rogaining run, and cyclists will have a three-hour MTB distance.
It is up to each participant to plan the distance on a specially prepared map. Participation will not require a Covid-19 certificate. At the finish, all participants will receive a commemorative medal, and at the end of the event, there will be a lottery of gifts for supporters of the competition “Garmin”, “Isostar” and “Magnesia”, as well as awarding the best.
