Rogaining is an increasingly popular orienteering sport, and in 2017 the 15th Rogaining World Championship will even be held in Latvia. Riga Rogaining is an orienteering sports team competition, where teams of 2-5 people move around the area and visit checkpoints located in the area in a freely chosen order during a certain period of time, which are assigned certain values, trying to collect as many points as possible in the specified time.
The competition is offered by Riga City Council and the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of Riga City Council. Organized by xRace in cooperation with the Rogaining Commission of the Latvian Orienteering Federation and O!Latvija.
