Riga Seven Dwarfs Rogaining on 2 November at the Ozols shopping centre

The largest and most popular Riga Rogaining in the Baltic States will take place on November 2 in Riga at the "OZOLS" shopping center” and will be called “Rīgas septiņu rūķīšu rogainings”.

According to the participants' abilities and wishes, the organizers offer the usual team distances - 6h Garmin, 4h Kokmuižas and 2h Isostar rogaining distances, as well as individual 3h MTB and rogaining run 2h (O-Run) and rogaining walk for children.

In this place, the organizers also held a rogaining competition in March 2016, when the “Pilsētu leģendu” series was not yet created, but two big Riga Rogaining were held a year - one in early spring, and the other in autumn. And this shopping center still had the old name. Although a certain part of the area will overlap with 2016, a large part will be new territory. There will no longer be Dārzciems and the other side of the railway, namely the suburbs of Latgale and Ķengaraga, but the area will move a little more towards Salaspils.

The extreme northern points will be near Ulūpjie and in Upeslejām Ropažu district. In order to get there, you will have to go through Ulbroka and Saurietii, where the longest 84km distance in the annual “Taisnais” double marathon was started at the beginning of October at the former railway station building, where Rogainers also start, the leader of the 2-hour O-Run distance Anitai Užulei also won the prized place last year. The role of the big dots will also need to cross the river Mazajai Juglas. And, of course, how can we do without the summer cottage village Rūkiši in the Salaspils region, after which this stage got its name.
